Vicki Walker’s art could best be described as “narrative.” Whether informal illustration or fine artwork, she likes to tell a story. These “stories” are often conceived in response to beautiful poetry, narration, ideas, true principles or events she finds inspiring.
Because of her illustration background , she has worked in many different mediums. As she has moved away from children’s illustration, her preferred medium of choice is oil. Her favorite subject matter-the human saga, with all its faith, hope and potential, and its relationship to a benevolent Heavenly Father.
