Story Behind the Art
At the center, the image of Christ leans over in an act of compassion toward the humility of the blind man who kneels before His presence. At both extremes I have represented two other types of attitudes upon seeing the miracle: On one side the skepticism, the jealousy, and perplexity of the Pharisees and priests who stand still and erected in their pride. On the other extreme, the people that revered and followed the Savior with thankful hearts.
