The song that triggered this painting was on the “Women at the Well” CD by Kenneth Cope. I thought the sentiment was a wonderful one of the spirit of a young girl who was called back from the spirit world to become the Savior’s miracle. Although she was in a place of light and peace she was willing to come back to prove the Savior’s power death. The lilies in the picture I thought were a beautiful way to show the idea of death, as they are often used at funerals and feel sacred and holy look to look at. ~Simon Dewey
