Charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.
Purity, innocence and the joy are the essence of little children. In this painting I wanted to capture that essence and emphasize the need for us all to become as little children if we are to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Christ among His creations and in the presence of a simple child was the setting I imagined. I included the doves to symbolize the purity of childhood and the flowers to portray the beauty of that innocence. ~ Simon Dewey
