Judy Cooley

Award-winning artist Judy Cooley lives at the foot of the Rocky Mountains with her husband, Erik, and their four children. Like any other mother’s, her days are full of laundry and dishes, yard work and soccer games, and so she paints in the early hours of the morning or whenever she has a quiet moment alone.

Judy studied at Weber State University as well as privately with many notable art professionals. Art is a part of her everyday life, so she paints what she lives. She tries to capture in her work those special moments of life and childhood “when your heart takes a picture.” She enjoys camping and being outdoors and always has a camera with her so she doesn’t miss anything that might be a great painting in the making.
